Priory Group

Supporting 26,000 people a year, Priory is the leading independent provider of mental healthcare and adult social care in the UK. They came to us with a clear goal: to shape a workspace that reflected the needs of their high-performing IT team, while also inspiring other teams to reconnect with the office in a more meaningful way.

When creating spaces that work harder to support people, it’s about more than just design – it’s about understanding. From the outset, our in-house designers and project managers built a fantastic connection and rapport with Priory’s internal team – including their Interior Designer, Office Manager, Head of Estates and Heads of IT. This partnership was built on curiosity, trust, and shared values, because we weren’t just designing for a function – we were designing for people and bringing connection to their culture. If less is more, this was all about less obligation, and more purpose! These teams deserved a space that would go beyond requirements to generate excitement. So, we got to work.

It all started with a collaborative process, including engagement surveys, feedback sessions, and open dialogue. Knowing their people, how to inspire them and support their best work saw us craft a workspace that felt both operationally sharp and emotionally intelligent. And the design did more than tick boxes – it was welcomed with open arms.

The end result? A welcoming, future-focused space that works as hard as Priory’s team does. Visit and you’ll discover tech-enabled meeting rooms and a fully equipped boardroom to power hybrid collaboration. Sociable tea points and collaborative zones bring people together intentionally and spontaneously. Thoughtful acoustic solutions and security integrations meet high standards and help workflow. A warm, professional aesthetic balances strong corporate branding with calm, welcoming vibes. As expected, everything was delivered in just six weeks and within budget. It’s a project that’s testament to open communication and a shared commitment to quality.

At AMH, we use insight and experience to build workspaces that form a connection between buildings and people. This case study is a great example, because it’s not just a finished office – it’s the start of a continued partnership. We’ve been asked to support Priory again, this time designing and delivering their brand-new 6,000 sq ft headquarters in Hammersmith. We can’t wait.
