Helping companies and society become sustainable is a true mission for Ambipar. They’re preserving the world for future generations through multinational, multi-industry environmental management and emergency response. Their new office in Avonmouth needed to go beyond functionality; a flexible space would support their team with training and various meetings, but we also had to make sure there was consistency with their HQ in São Paulo, Brazil.

We started designing a layout that could not only accommodate but adapt. This creativity is only possible when we collaborate with clients and share open communication with a commitment to achieving the best outcome for their team. Staying in touch and on top of budget was vital – costs were clear at every stage, and we always remained conscious of decisions. With no compromise on quality or functionality, we were able to build a training room, and two meeting rooms complete with wipe boards, acoustic wall panelling and the correct specification of partitions to control noise transfer. The inclusion of AV allows for seamless connectivity and virtual connections and having a collaborative working environment with benches as well as pull-up chairs accommodates informal meetings. A newly branded sofa area welcomes visitors and acts as a cool down/debrief space, not forgetting the creation of a refreshment station too!

Working together, we’ve been able to create a space that goes beyond functionality – and expectations. This office is future-proof and completely aligned with their global vision. Integrating flexible meeting/training spaces, mirroring their headquarters’ design, and adding biophilic elements shaped the office into its final form and is a source of pride for our client. They’re excited to use the space, and we’re all confident it can serve their needs for many years! We’ve made their workspace work harder by engaging with their team, maintaining communication, and being passionate about bringing their ideas to life.
