"From the initial brief taking meeting through to the completion of the project was a smooth and seamless journey. At no point during the project did we feel uninformed and AMH’s flexible and helpful approach was comforting."

Northrop Grumman required new premises that would provide two distinct spaces, firstly storage / shipping and workshop facilities and secondly a modern office environment that reflected their company values.
The new premises had recently been refurbished by the landlord, providing a clean crisp canvas for our creative office design. The ground floor provided a practical space for storage / shipping and workshop facilities. Through detailed brief taking the specific requirements for each space were clearly identified and we designed to suit. The positioning of the staff break out area on the ground floor created the common link which brought both floors together. The challenge on the first floor was providing the required number of offices without impacting on the fantastic natural light levels. The use of large quantities of glazed partitioning around a circular core helped achieve this goal. Understanding where the natural lighting levels were poorest enabled us to locate the levels of storage required and the shape and size selected to compliment the over all office design. The project benefited from all new furniture to the office area and breakout space, helping create a light, coordinated space.
Northrop Grumman required individual offices for 5 members of staff but wanted to maintain an open plan look and feel. We achieved this by creating a circular design feature that utilised the space efficiently and allowed the central admin team to sit within a clear view of all offices. Some members of staff had back problems so the sit / stand desks were the perfect solution. The Office Fit Out was completed in a 4 week window.
