Deskpro required a new vibrant and modern office that would fully embrace agile working and technology. Formal meeting rooms, private offices and individual skype pods were paramount to the function of day to day tasks.
We wanted to create a modern and spacious environment that reflected the brand colours and personality whilst also utilising the existing high ceilings and exposed services. By using bold geometric shapes, colours and finishes we were able to create a layout which was not only functional but also aesthetically exciting. The semi-circular meeting room location provided a divide between the focus space and breakout area whilst still maintaining an open plan design. Acoustics and noise transfer were also addressed by installing ceiling panels, fins, wall mounted 3Dimensional artwork and acoustic cills within the glass doors.
The development of the design scheme was carefully co-ordinated with the landlord works to ensure minimal alterations were required to mechanical and electrical services. The clever use of the redundant lift shaft to provide two study booths helped us maximise the available office space. The use of fully glazed doors and strong colours to the study booths ensured the booths felt part of the open plan space. All the spaces were constructed to provide excellent internal acoustics and ensure noise break out was kept to a minimum so not to effect the team within the open plan space. The Office Design and Fit Out was completed in 4 weeks.
